BIONAP’s concept of sustainability means overall to take care of our planet and its resources. Renewable resources, both for energy and water management, are employed anytime it’s possible.

SOLAR ENERGY: BIONAP selects supplier that employ solar energy for some steps of raw material processing. In certain moment the renewable energy employed is up to 75%.

WATER RESOURCES: BIONAP approach the best way to optimize water management during extraction processes. Moreover suppliers assure a continue sustainable use of water for irrigation purposes.

Most of bionap’s raw material come out from byproducts identified during different processes of the food industry, while direct contact are mantained with producers.
This contributes to hit zero waste target creating circular economy model.

The “environment friendly” approach is used by Bionap since its foundation.

Hence, all Bionap products originate from the idea of preserving the natural resources and preventing waste production, following a concept of circular economy.

BIONAP’S SUPPLY CHAIN, is short, traceable and ethically managed. The main target is to control the raw material in a direct way to assure top premium quality.

In 2018 a FARMER’S NETWORK has been created to assure a wide production base and to reduce crop risks. The actual network, ever growing, consist of 150 hectares of organic certified farmlands no more distant than 2 hours of transport route from the nearest processing facility.
